I saw the beauty in death on this journey, but I want others to see the beauty in the journey that they may be going through at this time. Even though my journey was hardcore and something I pray no parent has to experience, I know that we can find the beauty in any situation. I want to be a support to others who are in need of finding joy in the most difficult times. I want others to know that there is truly life after death and to understand the scripture—to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord, 2 Corinthians 5:8.
I want to be the light to those who are in darkness and can’t seem to find the sunshine after the storm. I want to reach people who need a reminder of God’s love and His miracle-working power. I pray that those who don’t know God, through this journey, will spark a connection within to want to know the God that has no partiality for specific persons. Judging none, what He’ll do for one, He will do for all—Romans 2:11. I want to inspire others who know God to continue to walk in the things of God, no matter what the obstacles look like. I promise God will never leave you, nor forsake you, because it says it in His word, and His word is true. I’m a living witness to this scripture. Hebrews 13:5.

I finished your book but haven’t had a chance to connect with you. Your book was so touching and inspiring. Two things I felt spoke to me, first of all, my son died at home. My daughter and I found him in his kitchen. I read in your book where you wrote, you were with her when she took her first breath and when she took her last. It always bothered me that I wasn’t there when my son took his last breath and not only that but to think my baby died alone! I never realized until I read your book, he was never alone, God was there with him the whole time. Also, while reading your book, I noticed you didn’t journal (or share) every day, so when it got closer to the end of your book I wondered if you journaled on the day my son passed. Not only did you journal that day but I felt you were speaking to me! Please read what you wrote 1/16/17 that’s the day my son passed. When I read that I know you were speaking to me 🙏🏻🙏🏻 “Not sure who this is for” ….. was me!! You will always have a place in my heart because I feel we are connected by the heart ♥️🙏🏻
